Who We Are - Revive BSP

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a vibrant space where Beta Sigma Phi sisters can share ideas, exchange information, and strengthen the bonds that unite us. A place where we can truly Communicate, Connect, and Grow together.

Beta Sigma Phi empowers women to build lifelong friendships, pursue personal growth, and make a meaningful impact in their communities. More than an international organization, Beta Sigma Phi is a sisterhood built on the collective strength, support, and dedication of women connecting with one another.

When we share our experiences, ideas, and successes, we all thrive. Together, we have an incredible opportunity to shape the future of our organization while honoring the values that have guided us for generations.

Now is the perfect time to reimagine Beta Sigma Phi for today and tomorrow—embracing our traditions while also welcoming and engaging new generations of women. By strengthening our connections and sharing our vision, we can ensure that our sisterhood remains vibrant, relevant, and inspiring for years to come.

LuWanda Ford

Almost two years ago, I created the "revivebsp" email address and began promoting Beta Sigma Phi membership with a vision to spark change.
A few weeks ago, I met Bev Banks and discovered our goals were perfectly aligned. We partnered to create our current page and website to foster better communication and connection between sisters.

Following the announcement regarding the closure of the International office, we were as devastated as everyone else. However, the response has been incredible. In less than four days, this group has grown from 32 members to over 932. You represent the many sisters who love Beta Sigma Phi and want to see it thrive.

I hope we can now move past any blame or frustration and focus on our bright future. You have already contributed wonderful ideas for creating state organizations and maintaining our transfer privileges. Please understand that we are not replacing the International office; rather, we are forging a new path forward with a different format.

Thank you for your continued support. As we move forward, I encourage you to take a moment to think about what Beta Sigma Phi means to you and consider where you would be if no one had invited you to join.

Let us keep those thoughts in mind as we embrace the future together

Bev Banks

I am a proud sister of Laureate Eta Nu in Clermont, Florida, and I have a deep passion for Beta Sigma Phi and all that our sisterhood represents. As a retired webmaster, I have enjoyed using my skills to assist my Florida sisters with convention websites, as well as supporting the Ocala City Council website.

At the recent Florida State Convention Cruise, I had the pleasure of meeting LuWanda. We immediately connected through our shared vision of creating a place where sisters could come together to share ideas, exchange information, and strengthen the bonds of friendship that make Beta Sigma Phi so special.

Soon after, we learned of the closing of the International Office. Like many sisters, we recognized the importance of preserving our connections and maintaining the spirit of our organization. Rather than stepping back, we jumped in with both feet, determined to find new ways to keep our sisters connected, informed, and engaged.

Our goal is simple: to provide a place where Beta Sigma Phi sisters can communicate, collaborate, and support one another as we move forward together. We believe that by sharing our experiences, ideas, and successes, we can continue to strengthen our sisterhood and ensure that the values we cherish remain vibrant for generations to come.
